For the renovation of the à-la-carte restaurant "Taverne" on the lake level of the Eibsee Hotel, the Rieppel family placed great emphasis on the therme of regionality. The menu features alpine products sourced from the immediate surroundings. Reflecting this concept in the interior design, we quite literally brought the surrounding mountains indoors: seven peaks and mountain ranges from the region, precisely modeled in gypsum to scale, from a striking highlight of the space. The rustic wooden ceiling was carefully preserved. Combined with black chairs in a minimalist design, a sisal-look textile floor, and accents of brass an premium cognac-colored leather, the result is a refined and elegant atmosphere that invites guests to feel completely at ease.
